Primary Blog/ISSUE #40: Honoring Our Heroes and Celebrating Family Traditions 🎖️✨

Hello ACSF Family,

🎖️ Happy Memorial Day! 🎖️

Today, as we gather with our loved ones to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country, we want to take a moment to highlight a special connection to our beloved "A Christmas Story."

Did you know that Jean Shepherd, the brilliant mind behind "A Christmas Story," was a veteran? Shepherd served in the United States Army during World War II, and his experiences undoubtedly influenced the rich storytelling that has touched so many hearts. His legacy continues to remind us of the importance of family, tradition, and the simple joys of life.

A Hidden Tribute in "A Christmas Story Christmas"
For those of you who have watched "A Christmas Story Christmas," did you catch the hidden tribute? There’s a picture of Ralphie on the wall, proudly wearing a military uniform. Could it be that Ralphie, the character who taught us to dream big and never give up, also served his country? It's a touching nod that adds even more depth to the story we all love.

We’d love to hear your thoughts! Did you notice this hidden detail? Write back and let us know what you think!

The Importance of Family Traditions

As we reflect on the sacrifices made by our heroes, we are reminded of the importance of family traditions. These moments of togetherness and shared memories are what truly matter. That's why the united cast of A Christmas Story has set out on a mission to help you create and strengthen your family traditions. We believe that the warmth and humor of "A Christmas Story" can bring families closer together, not just during the holiday season but throughout the entire year.

Did You See Our Mini-Documentary?
We recently created a mini-documentary where we discuss the significance of family and family traditions. It’s a heartfelt look at why these moments are so important and how we can keep them alive.

Thank you for being a part of our A Christmas Story Family. Together, we can honor the legacy of our heroes, both on the screen and off, by creating lasting memories and traditions with our loved ones.

Wishing you a meaningful Memorial Day filled with family, reflection, and gratitude.

To Our Heroes,

Yano Anaya
