why was the inner circle created?
Hi, my name is Yano Anaya, and I'm Grover Dill, the little bully, "the Toadie", from the movie.
As the creator of the 'A Christmas Story' Family, I'm excited to bridge the gap between the cast and the fans throughout the year!
Some call me the original 'Guardian' of "A Christmas Story..."
But I am one of many.
Eager to build lasting connections after the film’s release, I discovered the complexities of event planning and the nature of fan interactions at conventions.
After meeting thousands of fans alongside co-stars like Ian Petrella and Scott Schwartz, the relationships often ended with the events. Determined to create a more enduring community, I reunited the cast in 2019 and, with the help of my friend and business coach, Emmanuel Soba, we launched an online platform to keep fans connected year-round.
Despite personal setbacks and the logistical challenges of gathering our dispersed fans, the platform has flourished, growing to over 80,000 members and providing a space for fans to interact directly with the cast, enjoy unique content, and feel part of a close-knit community. This has transformed our fan interactions into a source of continuous joy and nostalgia, reinforcing the legacy of 'A Christmas Story.'
